Young People Unite in London for Pursuit of Worship Event

At the Free Pursuit event in Ilford on Saturday, May 10, speaker Reuben Morley encouraged young people to dig deep into what they believe and to live it out boldly. He shared examples and practical ways they can be equipped to share their faith, pursue righteousness, and walk alongside others who call on the Lord from a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22, ESV).
The Pursuit team kicked off the night with excitement, giving away free t-shirts to the first 150 guests and goody bags to all attendees.
Nepalese international students holding their goody bags after attending the Pursuit event. They shared that they feel more equipped to share their faith and would be attending the June event.
Youth from City Gates Church shared how deeply they were impacted by the night, saying the worship was their favourite part—because God’s presence was so real and tangible.
Jesse Ayo, a youth from Kings Church Kent, ministered to others in attendance through a powerful rap that resonated with the room filled with young people.
Evangelist Virginnia Logan, representing Christ for All Nations, also delivered a powerful message at the event—offering faith-filled encouragement anchored in the unshakable truth of God’s Word. Her heartfelt challenge inspired young people to stand firm in their convictions and speak life, grounded in Scripture.
The room was buzzing with 400 guests, predominantly young people from all over London, eager to worship and discover new ways to share their faith.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Rapid Response Team Chaplains were present, offering support and speaking to the youth, as well as providing prayer and counselling to anyone in need.
Worship was led by music minister Phill King, visiting from Texas, USA. Will you join us in praying for the God Loves You Tour in the UK this June? Pray for boldness among believers as they invite their friends and family to the Festival, and ask God to draw many into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
