Young People Come Together in Newport for Pursuit of Worship Event

At the Free Pursuit event in Newport on Saturday, May 3rd, speaker Reuben Morley encouraged young people to dig deep into what they believe and to live it out boldly. He shared practical ways they can be equipped to share their faith, pursue righteousness, and walk alongside others who call on the Lord from a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22, ESV).
Evangelist Virginnia Logan, from Christ for All Nations, also spoke at the event—bringing a message of faith and encouragement, grounded in the unshakable truth of God’s Word. Her words challenged young people to stand firm and speak life, rooted in Scripture.
Worship was led by music minister Phill King, visiting from Texas, USA. As voices lifted in praise, the room was filled with a deep sense of reverence and expectation, creating space for hearts to encounter God in a powerful way.
Young hearts lifted in earnest worship, seeking the Lord.
Matt Walls from The Message Wales led a powerful time of prayer, prompting young people to press in with faith and expectancy.
Young people gathered joyfully in the presence of the Lord—equipped to share their faith boldly and live it out with conviction. “The righteous are as bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1, ESV).
Young people of all ages, from preteens to young adults, came together to seek God and grow in faith.
Hundreds of young people gathered for this free event, creating a space for attendees to invite friends who don’t know the Lord to hear the life-changing Gospel and join in a powerful time of worship with fellow believers.
Will you join us in praying for the God Loves You Tour in the UK this June? Pray for boldness among believers as they invite their friends and family to the Festival, and ask God to draw many into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
