UK Chaplains Deploying to Flood-Hit South Wales

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) are deploying to offer emotional, spiritual and practical support to the community of Pontypridd in South Wales after being hit by severe flooding.

Devastating floods have swept the country as a result of unprecedented rainfall from Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis.

Four people have been killed by the floods. Villages are still submerged in water, and families have been forced to evacuate their homes.

There are still around 120 flood warnings across the UK, with four in South Wales—one of the worst affected areas.

From Saturday 22nd February, crisis-trained chaplains will be present amongst the community to offer a listening ear and a message of hope to those suffering from the impact of the floods.

With the ongoing flood warnings in the area, please keep the BG-RRT chaplains in prayer as they travel to spread the love and comfort of Christ in a troubling time.
