Pursuit of Worship: Young People Turn to Christ in the Midlands

Faith Child leading worship
This month in Leicester, Birmingham and Wolverhampton, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association hosted a series of Pursuit of Worship nights across the weekend of 19-21st April. These are just a handful of the many preliminary events being held in the lead up to the God Loves You Tour in Birmingham and Glasgow this June.

Hundreds of young people attended these free events that gave attendees the opportunity to bring friends who do not know the Lord to hear the life-changing Gospel and be amongst a body of believers for a time of worship.

Well over 200 young people attended the event in Leicester alone, many inviting friends who didn’t know the Lord.
Chandler Hampton preaching
“There’s only two types of people in this world: those that know Jesus and those that don’t,” shared Chandler Hampton, Tour Associate of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), as part of his message all about encouraging young people to be bold in sharing their faith with their world. The message was based around the thief on the cross from Luke 23.

Young people leading prayers
Young people led prayers for the lost in their city – that they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
“It makes me more confident to share my faith,” shared one attendee.

Today, will you join in praying for the God Loves You Tour in the UK this June? Pray for boldness for believers as they seek to invite their friends and family to the Festival, and pray for many people to enter into a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
