Dear Friend,
In just a few short months, I will join friends like you for the God Loves You Tour in London. I’ve been looking forward to returning to your capital city since the tour last year—and I hope you’ll get involved in this exciting Gospel outreach.
While this event will take place at the ExCeL London, it’s my prayer that the effects from the tour will be felt across your nation. We’ve arranged for buses to bring people from all over southern England to the ExCeL so many more can attend. This outreach depends on believers like you—and there are so many ways you can start now to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with your neighbours.
Christian Life and Witness Course (CLWC) classes are currently underway. I urge you to take one of these free training sessions if you haven’t done so before. It will help deepen your faith in the Lord and equip you to tell others about His love.
John* was among those who recently attended Pursuit, a CLWC course especially designed for teens.
The 17-year-old shared that many of his classmates are Muslim or describe themselves as atheists. “It’s been difficult to evangelise and share the message that Jesus is the only and one true God,” he explained. “The training has helped me with my effectiveness as a Christian. It’s taught me the importance of standing boldly for Jesus in a world where there are
other religions.”
In just a few short weeks, pastors and church leaders will come together for an I Am Andrew breakfast to look at the Biblical example of Andrew—and discover how believers like you can follow his example today. As soon as Andrew met Jesus, he went to find his brother and told him, “We have found the Messiah’ … . He brought him to Jesus” (John 1:41–42, ESV). Will you ask the Lord to show you people in your life you can point to Him?
You can begin praying for them now, then spend time with them so you can share what God has done in your own life, ask them to attend a church service with you, and then invite them to the God Loves You Tour event this August.
As we prepare for the God Loves You Tour, nothing is more important than prayer. Will you pray consistently and boldly for the Lord to do a mighty work in London? Ask Him to work in many “hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6, NKJV).
May God richly bless you,
Franklin Graham | President
INTERNET EVANGELISM
AFTER 40 YEARS IN THE DARK
After 40 years ‘in the dark’ Freyja* grew up in an atheist family in what she describes as one of the most secular countries in the world. She didn’t have any faith whatsoever—until a friend encouraged her to listen to Billy Graham sermons on Spotify and YouTube. When she heard the Gospel message, she longed to know more. While online, Freyja found PeaceWithGod.org.uk and enrolled in one of our discipleship courses, Living in Christ. Before the course ended, she prayed to surrender her life to Jesus Christ. “I know the truth after living in the dark for almost 40 years,” she told our volunteer. “I am so happy that I found Jesus and just want to grow in faith and learn more.” Pray that Freyja will connect with other believers near her and will reach many others with the Good News.
