Dear Friend,

I am writing with a simple but urgent request: Please join me in fervent prayer. First, please ask God to comfort the people of Ukraine. Will you pray that He will fill hurting men and women with His peace—and that He will bring this war to a swift end?

Please also pray for the upcoming God Loves You Tour—kicking off in just a few weeks in Liverpool. After Liverpool on 14 May, the tour will lead to South Wales on 21 May and Sheffield on 25 May. The God Loves You Tour will wrap up in London on 16 July.

Ten years ago, 60 percent of people in the United Kingdom identified as Christians. Today, that number is just over one-third. And as we prepare for Easter—the celebration of the resurrection of our Saviour—only 16 percent say that this holiday is very important to them. The UK needs the Gospel. Will you join me in praying that God will draw many to salvation in Jesus Christ? 

I encourage you to ask the Lord to bring loved ones to mind who don’t know the Saviour. When He does, be sure to pray for them every day and then invite them to go with you to a tour event near you. Perhaps this is the opportunity they have been waiting for to surrender their lives to Him!

The Bible says, “the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:15 ESV). Let’s flood the throne room of Heaven, asking God to transform hearts across the UK and then let’s watch as He moves in a mighty way.
