Dear Friend,

I am so grateful for your commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with people all across the world. Through your support of internet evangelism, countless men, women, and children “hear the word of the gospel and believe” (Acts 15:7, ESV) every single day.

Abdullah* is just one of those people. He is a refugee from Yemen now living in another Middle Eastern country—and he was desperate for hope when he went online. He did a quick search for encouragement and connected with one of our chat volunteers. After sharing the physical struggles he is facing—from a lack of clean drinking water to homelessness—he explained how lonely he is.

In the face of so many struggles, Abdullah was eager for peace—and he followed along closely as our chat volunteer shared how he could find it through a relationship with Jesus Christ. When he understood the Gospel, he said a heartfelt prayer of repentance and faith. Immediately, Abdullah shared that he began to feel his burdens lighten as he embraced Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Will you pray for Abdullah and all those hearing the Good News through this ministry?

Thank you for your partnership to “preach the gospel in lands beyond you” (2 Corinthians 10:16, ESV) through internet evangelism.

May God richly bless you,

Franklin Graham | President

She found rest in the Saviour

Jojo,* who lives in Australia, recently went looking for answers about Christianity online. Although she had some experience with religion, she never had a relationship with Jesus Christ—and she was full of questions, from whether or not reincarnation is real to whether Muslims worship the one true God. Our chat team member patiently answered her questions using Scripture. As Jojo followed along, the Holy Spirit worked in her heart, and she shared that she was ready to embrace the Good News that “there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all” (1 Timothy 2:5–6, ESV). Once she prayed to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, she felt her sense of doubt replaced with calm.

Something was missing

Cal* recently enrolled in Know Jesus, one of our online discipleship courses. He was completely open about his own sin—and how much he wanted freedom. “I bragged and showed off a lot. Now I’m older,” he typed. “[I] realize what’s missing in my life: I should be happy and I’m not.” Our chat volunteer patiently answered his questions and shared Scripture with him. During their conversations, Cal made it clear he was ready to change. He said a heartfelt prayer to receive Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. Cal kept our chat volunteer updated as he grew in his relationship with the Lord. “I started at a church,” he told him. “I sat with the pastor … to help me understand things. We are meeting again this week.”

‘I think Jesus is right’

Fourteen-year-old Harun* lives in a European country where the majority of the population is Muslim, including his family. He recently went online for answers about faith and connected with one of our chat volunteers. “I don’t see my life in Islam,” he typed. “I think Jesus is right.” Our team member shared Scripture with Harun, who followed along eagerly. Just a few minutes into their chat, he joyfully prayed to place his trust fully in Jesus Christ. Harun went on to share that, despite his family’s adherence to Islam, he plans to find a way to visit a local church—and he looks forward to the day he can be baptized. We praise God for Harun’s bold new faith!

Desperate for lasting peace

Mariama,* from Sierra Leone, was struggling with constant panic attacks and went online looking for answers. The 19-year-old college student began a chat with one of our team members, Julie, who compassionately listened as she poured out her heart. “I am feeling so disappointed in myself,” Mariama typed. “I need peace.” When Julie told her that Jesus Christ alone offers lasting peace, she was eager to learn more. After following along closely, she surrendered her life to Jesus—in repentance and faith—and asked Him to be her Lord and Saviour. Will you pray that Mariama will continue to find peace, joy, and hope as she grows in her faith?

‘My only friend is God’

Esin* lives in a Middle Eastern country completely closed to evangelism, and she recently became a Christian after learning about Jesus on the internet. The 19-year-old was looking for help growing closer to the Lord when she discovered Know Jesus, our online discipleship course. The young woman was so grateful for the Biblical lessons the course covered and for the chance to connect with Lori, one of our chat team members. When Esin’s mother discovered she was a believer, she was angry and urged her to return to Islam—but she refused. “These days my only friend is God and the Holy Spirit,” Esin told Lori. “[I] told my mother I worship my true God.” Please pray for her, her mother, and the rest of her family. Ask God to open her family’s eyes to “the word of the truth, the gospel” (Colossians 1:5, ESV).
