Hearts Turn to Jesus Christ in London

Franklin Graham preached on the Prodigal Son (Luke 15)—and how he repented of his sin and was forgiven at the age of 22. “God in Heaven is watching you tonight. God will do the same thing for you.”
More than 10,000 people came to the God Loves You Tour in London on Saturday night. It was Franklin Graham’s second trip to London to preach in as many summers, and this year’s event drew several more thousand to ExCeL London.

The Holy Spirit was moving as hundreds came forward to make life-changing decisions to follow Jesus Christ.
Some 130 buses from as far away as Liverpool—a 4-hour drive—brought in thousands to ExCeL London. “The bus isn’t going to leave you,” Franklin Graham said as he invited the crowd to surrender their lives to the Lord. “You come right now. Come to Jesus.”
Franklin Graham and Michael Tait share a moment at the arena, just before Graham took the stage to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Franklin Graham walked on stage after the Tommy Coomes Band finished up a praise and worship set on Saturday night. “I want to say a few words to you tonight because I believe there are people here who have hurting hearts,” he told the 10,000-plus in attendance. “I’m here to say this to you tonight: God loves you! He loves you, and He sent His Son Jesus Christ from Heaven to this earth to save you from your sins.”
“But Jesus called them to him, saying, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.’” —Luke 18:16
Hundreds of people flooded the area in front of the stage to respond to the Gospel message, showing the spiritual hunger of many in this global city. “For some time, it’s been spiritually cloudy,” said Pastor Rasaq Ibrahim of Redeemed Christian Church of God in Birmingham. “Last year’s event has made things easier for us. The atmosphere is better now.”
After Franklin Graham led a prayer of salvation, prayer counsellors spoke with those making decisions for Jesus Christ. As they answered questions, they also distributed discipleship materials and Bibles to help new believers grow in their walk with God.
