On Saturday 11 January, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) hosted a celebration at Westminster Chapel for more than 100 volunteers who served as counsellors during the God Loves You Tour in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Attendees were blessed with worship led by Lou and Nathan Fellingham and counsellors were given gifts as a token of gratitude for their service at the recent Tours which each saw hundreds dedicate their lives to the Lord.
Scott Lenning, the Executive Festival Director, expressed his thanks for their vital role in the God Loves You Tour. “You have helped new believers take their first steps with Christ,” he said. “Like the first bottle of milk, your support has been crucial in nurturing their faith.” As the evening continued, attention turned towards the upcoming tour at the ExCeL, London, in June of this year. Prayers were offered in anticipation of a great harvest of souls and guests were invited to sign up to serve.
Ayesha Dunbar and Winsome Thomas, who have both previously volunteered as counsellors at the God Loves You Tour, shared their personal experiences. They spoke of the joy and fulfilment they found in serving, and encouraged others to consider playing their part in the 2025 tour.
Please join us in praying for the hundreds of churches in and around London partnering with the BGEA for the upcoming God Loves You Tour. In a world where bad news often dominates and culture seeks to push Christ out, Lenning’s address to the audience was timely and encouraging: “These are not easy days, but God is always good.”
The 2025 God Loves You Tour will take place on Saturday 21 June, featuring a Gospel message from Franklin Graham and worship led by Cece Winans and Michael W. Smith. Read more about the 2025 God Loves You Tour.
