Today on Fearless, Cissie Graham Lynch shares the news that she’s been asked by President Donald Trump to serve as the U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom. If confirmed, Cissie would work in the United States and around the world to defend religious freedom and provide recommendations on responding to faith-based persecution.
“When we choose to say yes to God, when we choose to stand with Jesus, it guarantees a battle ahead,” Cissie says. “He calls us to stand steady in faithfulness … and that’s what I intend to do.”
On this special new episode, Cissie tells the story behind the invitation and how her initial reaction was that it wasn’t the right season of life. But as Cissie has learned in the months following, God calls us to live boldly—to stand on the truth of His Word—even when it’s uncomfortable.
