At the God Loves You Tour in Glasgow, Scotland, Franklin Graham preached from Mark 10:46 about how God restored the sight of the blind beggar, Bartimaeus. “God will forgive your sins and heal your heart, but you have to make a choice,” he told the crowd at OVO Hydro arena on Saturday. “If you are willing to call out to Jesus in faith, He’ll answer your prayer tonight.”
More than 7,500 people crowded into Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena—the largest entertainment venue in Scotland—to hear live music and a message of hope.
At the beginning of the evening, kilt-clad bagpipers played “Amazing Grace” as many in the crowd enthusiastically sang out the well-known hymn about the sweetness of salvation.
In 2020, the God Loves You Tour had to be postponed when seven U.K. venues canceled their contracts with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. After a legal battle for religious freedom, most of those cases were resolved favorably—and churches witnessed people finding new life in Jesus Christ in Birmingham on June 15 and Glasgow on June 22.
Years ago, the city’s slogan was “Let Glasgow Flourish”—based on the famous prayer, “Lord, let Glasgow flourish through the preaching of Thy word and praising Thy name.” The motto has since been changed to “People Make Glasgow.” Hundreds of churches around the country have been praying for revival in Scotland for months ahead of the God Loves You Tour—asking the Lord to turn the nation back to Him.
Dennis Agajanian helped turn the focus to Christ as he finger-picked some upbeat Gospel songs on his six-string guitar.

Some 116 buses from as far away as Aberdeen—over a two-hour drive—brought thousands to the OVO Hydro arena.
The drawing of the Holy Spirit was evident as hundreds of people accepted Franklin Graham’s invitation to make the decision of a lifetime.
After Graham led a prayer of salvation, volunteer counselors spoke with those making decisions to follow Jesus Christ. As they answered questions and offered prayer, they also gave new believers discipleship materials and Bibles to help them grow in their relationship with God.
