Many surrendered their lives to God after hearing Graham preach on the Prodigal Son. “We looked at God’s Word and said, ‘We don’t want to follow this rule book,’” he said. “We rebelled against God. We are the Prodigal Child.”

Brussels has long been known as the heart—and capital—of Europe. It’s the hub for government affairs, where both the European Union and NATO are headquartered. It’s also a melting pot of cultures with over half of Brussels’ residents being foreign-born.

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) Chaplains were present at the event, supporting by speaking with some attendees that needed prayer & encouragement.

65 years after Billy Graham preached in Ethiopia, Franklin Graham held a festival in the capital city. The Crusade was held from the 8–9 March 2025, In the nation’s largest outdoor gathering space, 117,000 people gathered the first night followed by 320,000 on the final evening—all to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We give God all the glory for the thousands who surrendered their lives to Him. Even though religious freedom is strongly protected by the Ethiopian government, those who commit their lives to Christ and leave the old way of life can face severe backlash from their loved ones and neighbours. Please continue to put the church in Ethiopia in your prayers.

Local churches came together to bring the Gospel to Cochabamba, Bolivia, through Esperanza Cochabamba with Will Graham, drawing over 10,000 people to FestiKids in the morning and more than 31,000 to the main evening event at Félix Capriles Stadium—the largest evangelistic gathering of its kind in the city—where thousands stood to publicly share their decision to follow Christ after lively worship and Will Graham shared the Gospel through the story of Cain and Abel, explaining through Spanish-speaking interpreter Pastor David Ruíz that all of us are sinners before God and cannot approach Him on our own terms.

After catastrophic wildfires claimed at least 30 lives and reduced thousands of structures to rubble in California, leaving many desperate and without a place to call home, Franklin Graham shared a special message in Easter from the Ashes—filmed on the very ground where the deadly disaster swept through just months earlier—asking, “Can there be hope in the place of ashes?” as he pointed to the redemptive power of the Gospel, with uplifting music from Michael W. Smith and Charity Gayle.
May 2025

In May, over 1,000 Christian leaders, pastors, and evangelists from 55 European countries and territories gathered in Berlin, Germany, for a week devoted to evangelism.
Hosted by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), the European Congress on Evangelism aimed to reignite, unify, and strengthen the church in Europe, inspiring attendees with a renewed passion to proclaim the Gospel.

Many speakers encouraged the audience throughout the week, offering guidance, inspiration, and practical advice for living out and sharing the Gospel. Franklin Graham closed the congress urging attendees to stay focused on their calling. “Be focused on your ministry. Be focused on what God has called you to do and don’t let someone get you off track,” he said.

June 2025

On Saturday night, June 21, 2025, hundreds surrendered their lives to Christ as more than 17,000 people gathered in London for the God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham. Across the United Kingdom, local churches have witnessed God move powerfully through the tour in recent years, with thousands beginning a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This growing impact inspired even greater unity in 2025, as 553 churches joined together—more than double the number that participated in the previous event at ExCeL London in 2023—to proclaim the Good News and advance the kingdom of God.

At the event, Franklin Graham shared a powerful message from the story of Bartimaeus, the blind man who called out to Jesus for healing. Graham reminded the crowd that, like Bartimaeus, everyone is in need of spiritual restoration. “Bartimaeus was blind. He didn’t have a job. All he could do was just sit on the side of the road and ask for gifts from people passing by,” he said. “But regardless of your worldly possessions, we are all poor toward God … because of sin.” He continued, “God loves you, and He will forgive you tonight—but you have to come through Jesus Christ, because when He hung on that cross, He took your sin.”

In June, people from many different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs, received lasting hope and joy that can only come through knowing Jesus Christ. In just over three years, more than 3,000 people have responded to the Gospel through evangelistic outreaches called the God Loves You Tour across the United Kingdom. These events—involving Franklin Graham and partnerships with local churches—have proclaimed the Good News to over 45,600 people in six cities.

On June 6, protests against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement turned violent across Los Angeles, prompting 4,000 National Guard members and 700 Marines to mobilise in an effort to quell civil unrest. Following a week of looting, fires, and broken curfews, a local church invited the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) to help bring spiritual hope in this time of crisis.

The Lord worked powerfully in London, England, through the God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham, where more than 17,000 people gathered to hear the Gospel. Over 1,340 individuals made decisions for Jesus Christ, declaring, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you” (Psalm 16:2, ESV). The outreach brought together 580 participating churches, with over 250 buses arranged to bring attendees from across the United Kingdom. More than 3,500 people completed the Christian Life and Witness Course, over 2,100 youth attended The Pursuit event, and 1,400 Bibles were distributed—each number reflecting lives touched by the transforming power of the Gospel.
August 2025

In August, plans were set in motion for the Asian-Pacific Congress on Evangelism, looking ahead to August 24–26, 2027, when ministry leaders, pastors, and evangelists from over 50 countries and territories are expected to gather in Sydney, Australia, to be equipped, inspired, and refreshed in their calling to share the Gospel across the region. with Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and convener of the Berlin congress where this was announced, calling it “a defining moment for the church across Asia and the Pacific” and emphasizing the mission to ignite a holy fire in a new generation of Christians to boldly carry the Gospel to every corner of the region—a mission BGEA has supported since its founding 75 years ago, including hosting the World Congress on Evangelism in Berlin in 1966 and most recently reenergizing over 1,000 European ministry leaders in Berlin this past May.

In August, representatives from more than 700 local churches came together to officially launch Esperanza Lima with Franklin Graham, an evangelistic festival set for next March in the Peruvian capital, as pastors and local leaders rejoiced and prayed that their largely non-evangelical city would hear about new life in Christ, with leaders like Pastor Reynaldo Aragón of Iglesia Alianza Cristiana y Misionera emphasizing the need to present Christ as the only hope, and Augusto Jaimes, senior pastor of Iglesia Bautista de la Alborada, celebrating the church’s call to fulfill the Great Commission, marking the start of a citywide campaign that will conclude with the March 7, 2026, outreach featuring Franklin Graham and live music by renowned Christian artists.
September 2025

Worship filled ING Arena in Brussels back in September as the name of Jesus Christ echoed through the rafters and into two overflow areas for the Festival of Hope with Franklin Graham.
More than 14,000 people from this multicultural city—home to both NATO and the EU—lifted their voices to God in multiple languages. During “I Speak Jesus,” led by Charity Gayle, the crowd erupted into chants of “Jesus,” prompting the band to reprise the ending as the arena shook with praise.

Reporters from several media outlets met with Franklin Graham in Brussels on Friday ahead of September’s Festival of Hope.
Fifty years after Billy Graham’s EuroFest youth conference in the same city, Franklin Graham echoed his father’s concern for Europe’s young people—who make up Brussels’ largest age group. He told reporters that many were searching for purpose through sex, drugs, and alcohol but weren’t finding what their hearts truly needed.
He emphasized that God created them, loves them, and desires a relationship with them.
More than 600 churches across Belgium united in prayer and preparation for the Festival—an unprecedented show of unity in a region often divided by language and denomination.
As a 6-year-old newly arrived in Belgium in the early 1970s, Chas Fagan was once asked, “Who is Billy Graham?” He only knew two things: Billy Graham told Bible stories, and he was American.
Fagan couldn’t have imagined that, over 50 years later, he would become the official sculptor of Billy Graham’s statue now placed in the U.S. Capitol’s National Statuary Hall Collection. Though he never met Billy Graham, he spent five years studying his expressions, gestures, and even the fit of his suit jackets to capture his likeness accurately.
Speaking at the Billy Graham Library in March, Fagan described the painstaking work—especially perfecting the neutral expression he often saw after Billy Graham preached. Today, an estimated 30,000 visitors pass the statue daily, where John 3:16 and John 14:6 are engraved on the base.
October 2025

In October, during the Time of Hope Festival in Estonia, Will Graham told the crowd, “Tonight, I’m not here to talk to you about a religion. I want to talk to you about having a relationship with the One who made you.”
Many responded with joy, surrendering their lives to Jesus.

A few days before Saturday’s event, Will Graham entered St. Olaf’s Church, the historic chapel where his grandfather had preached the same message decades earlier. Overcome with emotion, he sat in the back pew, reflecting on the moment—Tallinn is one of the few cities where all three generations of Grahams have spoken.

November 2025

An overflow crowd of more than 1,050 gathered to launch next year’s Regina Look Up Celebration with Will Graham on Nov. 14. And it was clear that God was answering prayer.

December 2025

Chaplains from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) served alongside dozens of volunteers processing shoebox gifts at the Samaritan’s Purse National Ministry Centre in Coventry. Trained chaplains from BG-RRT have been in the midst of the fun and excitement in the National Ministry Centre. Whether it’s packing shoeboxes, offering a listening ear, or praying for someone.

We thank God for all the opportunities and activities He allowed us to be part of this year, and we ask for your prayers as we step into the year ahead, trusting Him to guide and bless every moment.
